eBooks technical issues

We are currently experiencing access problems with our eBook Central eBooks (formerly Ebrary eBooks) in our default library search.

If you wish to view ebooks from this collection please use http://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/gmit/ and login with your student/staff email and computer password.

Technical issues linking from MultiSearch to EBSCO articles

We are currently experiencing technical problems with linking from MutliSearch to articles in our EBSCO databases. If you access the EBSCO database directly from http://0-search.ebscohost.com.library.gmit.ie/login.aspx… and then click on “Choose databases” and “select all" databases you will get full access to all articles.

EBSCO ebook collection not opening via MultiSearch.

There is currently an issue with the linking of our EBSCO ebook collection free trial in MultiSearch. If you get an EBSCO login screen please copy the title of the book from MultiSearch and search from the trial link (http://0-search.ebscohost.com.library.gmit.ie/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=ehost&defaultdb=e000tww)

Technical problems with dawsonera download

We are experiencing some problems with our dawsonera download function. Our technical team are working hard to rectify the situation, but in order to fix the problem as soon as possible we will need to disable the function until later on this afternoon. The issue with this service has not affected the online reader function, which is working as normal.

We will update you on this matter as early as possible this afternoon.

Online Resources Login Problems

Unfortunately, after upgrading our library system we are experiencing some technical difficulties with accessing our online resources directly via WAM. If you login to 'My Library Account' then choose 'Search the Catalogue' on the left & 'Electronic Resources' from the menu on the right hand side you will be able to access the resources fine.
