As part of their continued efforts to constantly improve the EBSCO search experience, EBSCO is releasing several updates and enhancements, including:
Improvements to the overall look of the Search, Search Results, and Detailed Record pages within EBSCOhost, providing a more visually appealing interface to end users.
The feature previously labeled Alert/Save/Share is now labeled Share. All of the existing functionality of this feature remains the same. This change is one of several small updates that further optimizes our interface for language translation.
In addition to the above enhancements, Visual Search will be discontinued in all EBSCO databases and interfaces.
New content has been added to MultiSearch - British Standards Online is now indexed.
British Standards Online (BSOL) is a bibliographic, citation and full text database of British and adopted European international standards. BSOL provides researchers with the most complete collection of current, draft and withdrawn standards available anywhere.
MultiSearch simplifies the process of finding information, it searches books, journals, newspaper articles, e-books, dissertations, conference proceedings, and numerous academic databases. Rather than search for all of these things separately, MultiSearch lets you find them all at once, quickly and easily. Even better, it's tied directly to what is available through GMIT Libraries, online or in print.
MultiSearch may index some or all of the databases and journals you already use. Some databases and journals have full text indexing, others are indexed just by citation information (title, author, abstract, etc.).
