There is a problem linking from our search engine to the Ebrary site where the books are hosted - it is in the process of being fixed.
In the meantime you can get around it by clicking on the ebooks button just below the main search box and choosing Ebrary. Once you're in Ebrary just search for the title of the book or type in your required keywords.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

MultiSearch the library search engine has been upgraded
Summon™ the web-scale discovery service that powers our “MultiSearch" library search engine has a new updated version.
The new version, Summon™ 2.0, provides a new modern interface with enhanced features. It is so much more than a single search box…. it serves as a front door to our collections.
It's designed with mobile in mind! Summon™ 2.0 is responsive to different devices, creating a seamless experience whether you are using your desktop, tablet or mobile device.
Summary of changes:
The url is the same so go the library website (http://library.gmit.ie/) and try it today or go to: http://gmit.summon.serialssolutions.com/
The familiar "MultiSearch" features will still be there - search refinement, abstract preview, saved items folder and links to full text.
Happy searching!

The Library Homepage has Changed
...... slightly!
Use 'MultiSearch' to search the library’s print & online
collections for books, articles, ebooks, theses, dvds, and more.
Searching is fast and easy, you can search most of the
library's online resources without having to go to the individual library databases.
You might find you get too many results!
If so you can
quickly narrow down your search results by using the facets: content type,
library location, subject terms, publication date, language, and more.
If you still prefer to search the library catalogue just
click on 'Basic Catalogue Search'
Happy Searching!
