Access is now available to 50 business titles from the Dawsonera E-books database. Simply go to the etrials link on the library homepage and choose Dawsonera or go directly to www.dawsonera.com Access is available both on and off campus for one month until 20th April 2012.

Mapping Urban Ireland Exhibition

The above exhibition is now on display in the Library on the Dublin Road. The exhibition is presented jointly by the Royal Irish Academy and the Irish Historic Town Atlas project and will run in the library until March 30th.
To coincide with the exhibition, Paul Gosling will give a lecture 'The Maps of Galway: visual sources for the county's landscape, history and archaeology' on Wednesday 21st March at 1pm in the library.

EndNote Web Drop-in Training for March 2012

The following drop-in training sessions in EndNote Web will take place in the I.T. Training room in the library on the Galway (Dublin Rd.) Campus:

Thursday 8th March 3-4 pm
Monday 12th March 11 am - 12 pm
Wednesday 21st March 4-5 pm
Tuesday 27th March 3-4 pm

All are welcome but places are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Group sessions may also be booked by contacting the library.
