Skills4studycampus
An interactive e-learning resource for students which offers modules on four core study skills. These are writing; critical thinking; reading and note-making; referencing and understanding plagiarism. It is based on the teaching philosophy of Dr Stella Cottrell, bestselling author of The Study Skills Handbook. It is designed to help students study more effectively and achieve better grades in less time.
You can access the resource from Moodle - Choose 'Skills4studycampus' then 'Launch application'.
To get started, choose the most appealing module for you and take the diagnostic test. This will identify which parts of the module are most useful to you. From there, simply explore the resource one page at a time. The activities are designed to appeal to a variety of learning styles, and include full audio at the top-left of the screen.
