Slán Carmel

Carmel Kavanagh retires from GMIT after twelve years of service in the library. Most of that time was spent in CCAM Library.

Carmel’s interest in and enthusiasm for art and artistic work meant she was a great representative for the library service. Her own natural curiosity helped her research topics of interest for students and staff alike. 

Carmel’s warm personality and sense of humour will be missed by all.

Farewell Anne, Pat & Bill

Anne Kelly (Senior Library Assistant), Pat Houlihan (Attendant) and Bill Derenzy (Cluain Mhuire Attendant) depart the library this summer after many years of dedicated service.

We wish Anne Pat & Bill the best on their well deserved retirement, and we wish them happiness in the years ahead.

Ann Joyce Walsh says Goodbye!!!!!

Head librarian Ann retires today ... after 26 years of dedicated service to GMIT libraries.

Her presence in the libraries will be missed by library staff and GMIT patrons. We wish her all the best on her retirement with many years of health and happiness.
