Looking for past exam papers?

• Go to library.gmit.ie
• Click on the Exam Papers search button.
• At the login page enter your first name, your GMIT ID number and your library PIN. 

You are now in your library account.

• Click on the exam papers button again.
•  You will see a list of exam papers for each campus.
• Select the exam papers for your subject e.g. Exam Papers in Business Studies
• Select the course and the year that you want e.g. Exam Papers In Business Studies Galway Bachelor Business 2014 2015
• Choose the subject you want e.g. Business Statistics and Mathematics year 1 autumn 2015

Please be aware of how your voice can carry and disturb others - Keep your voice low and conversations to a minimum.

Our opening hours for the remainder of this academic term are:

Mon - Wed    09.00 – 22.00
Thur - Fri       09.00 – 21.00
Saturday       10.00 – 17.00

*Closed Bank Holiday Monday the 4th May. 

Dublin Rd. library has opened up extra seating on the ground floor of the library in the Training Room and the IT Room - these are silent individual spaces.

We appreciate that you may be studying hard over long hours, but when the library is busy there may not be enough seats for everyone - so please vacate your space if you are taking a break. We also advise you never to leave your valuables unattended, as unfortunately thefts may occur.

Don’t forget that library staff are here to help you locate any materials you may need as you prepare for your exams. If you have any questions please just ask!

Dublin Rd. Library is open until 9:00pm tonight (Friday) and 10:00am to 5:00pm tomorrow (Saturday)

Studying for Exams

Lectures are finished …so why not come to the library to study.

We are open as usual up until Saturday 21st December.

Our opening hours are: 

Mon-Wed: 09:00-22:00
Thur-Fri: 09:00-21:00
Sat: 10:00-13:00 (Reading rooms are open until 17:00 on Sat in the 100 corridor behind old reception)

Extra rooms are open for quiet individual study so if you can’t get a seat in the open plan area try the library training room on the ground floor or study rooms 1, 4, and 5 upstairs.

Library open from 9:00am for exams

For those of you that are in college early for exams, the main campus library is now open from 9:00am Monday-Friday until the 18th December 2009.

Extended Weekend Opening Hours - Before Christmas

Dublin Road library will be extending its opening hours leading up to exams.

The library will open Friday evening to 9pm and Saturday morning 10am - 1pm on the following weekends before Christmas:

Friday 20th / Saturday 21st Nov
Friday 27th / Saturday 28th Nov
Friday 4th / Saturday 5th Dec
Friday 11th / Saturday 12th Dec
